Strip away any leaves that would sit below the waterline so the water stays clean and clear. Refresh the water every one to two days, re-cut the stems each time, and keep the vase topped up, as roses drink quite a lot. Display them somewhere cool and out of direct sunlight, away from drafts, heat, and ripening fruit. If a bloom starts to droop, a fresh cut and clean water will often revive it.
